What data we receive
Sign-in is handled by Steam (OpenID). We only receive your SteamID64, public nickname and avatar URL. We never see your Steam password — authentication happens on Steam’s side.
What we store
We store: SteamID64, nickname, avatar, registration and last login dates, plus your favourites and price-tracking settings. We do not request or store email, phone or payment data.
How data is used
Data is used solely for site features: profile, favourites, price tracking, notifications. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Third-party services
Prices and item images are fetched from public marketplace APIs (Steam, Skinport, CSFloat, DMarket and others). These requests are made by our server — your personal data is not shared with marketplaces.
Data deletion
To delete your account and all related data, email info@cs2collections.net — we will remove it within 7 days.
Steam inventory: what we store and how to delete it
Checking someone else's inventory accumulates nothing: only the latest value measurement stays for the leaderboard. Daily value snapshots, per-item history and profit are stored only if the owner turned tracking on. Value snapshots live 400 days, per-item history is deleted 30 days after tracking is switched off, and leaderboard rows without tracking or a public page are cleaned after 180 days. The public inventory page opens only with the owner's explicit consent. The "Hide my inventory" switch in the profile removes the profile from the leaderboard, closes the public page and deletes the stored history; without signing in, write to info@cs2collections.net — we delete by SteamID within 7 days after confirmation through a Steam login.
