Fade — gradient percentage
The fade percentage is computed from the seed and lands between 80 and 100 %. Half of all seeds give 90 %+, so collectors chase 99 %+ and above all the single 100 % seed each weapon has.
Deterministic calculation
The percentage is computed from the seed by an open algorithm — it depends on no one’s opinion and matches the major marketplaces.
The percentage comes from Valve’s open algorithm — CSFloat, Skinport and DMarket show the same values. BUFF163 and CS.MONEY use their own pixel-analysis scale.
