About the team
Luminosity Gaming is a Canadian esports organization based in Toronto, Canada founded in February 2015 by Steve Maida. After operating independently from 2015 to 2019, on September 3rd, 2019 the organization was acquired by Enthusiast Gaming. It was later reacquired by Steve Maida on January 16th, 2026, with the organziation entering Counter-Strike 2 on July 1st, 2026.

- 2026.07.01 Luminosity Gaming announce their entry into Counter-Strike 2 by acquiring Rainwaker from Monte and signing afro, AZUWU, Bymas, and lux.
